Aromatherapy is a holistic treatment with the controlled use of aromatic essential oils, which aims to produce a physical, spiritual, emotional and mental sense of well-being. The oils are aromatic substances, which have been extracted from various plant materials such as flowers, fruits, leaves, seeds, bark and roots.
Each pure essential oil has distinct therapeutic properties, which can be blended for inhalation and when mixed together with a high quality vegetable carrier oil can be used for massage. These properties can improve the body’s natural function and so help to prevent disease, enhancing the health of both mind and body. The benefits of essential oils have a calming or uplifting effect on the emotions, help to strengthen and support the immune system and boost the circulation.
After a confidential consultation, a blend of suitable oils to suit your preference, your personal health and emotional condition will be used for your treatment.
Aromatherapy Massage also includes the benefits of Holistic Massage as listed below.

Lava Shell Relax Body Massage
Lava shells make the perfect winter warmer. Lava Shell Relax Body Massage offers a seamless treatment of heat and touch providing comforting warmth whilst easing muscle aches and pains. The heat eases tension and knots in the muscles, may help to eliminate toxins and provide relief to painful arthritic joints. Lava Shells are recycled tiger clam shells from the Philippines. Lava Shells are heated using LavaGel, a self-heating blend of natural minerals and ingredients including algae and dried sea kelp, when blended with salt water, generates its own controlled heat for a hour-long massage.
Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage includes massage of the upper back, arms, neck, shoulders, scalp and face to ease away aches and pains. It stimulates the circulation of blood and accelerates the flow of lymph encouraging efficient delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the hair and scalp. Regular massage can help maintain and improve muscle tone. It can also help eliminate muscle tension and restore joint movement by stretching and mobilising the tissues in the neck and shoulders.
The whole process is relaxing, enjoyable and requires no undressing or use of oil.
Additional benefits can be gained from the optional use of special oils to nourish hair roots and promote improvement in the hair texture.
Natural Face Lift Massage (Facial Rejuvenation)
Facial Rejuvenation is a natural face-lift with massage using precise lifting and stimulating techniques. It works primarily by freeing constrictions within the facial muscles and connective tissues. The facial muscles play an important role in the way we look and often reflect how we feel, with years of stress, pent-up emotions, habitual expressions and unhealthy lifestyle choices leaving their collective mark.
Through a combination of gentle massage of the face, lymphatic drainage, acupressure, energy balancing and facial exercises, the facial muscles are given a new lease of life. Although it is difficult to stave off the ageing process, Facial Rejuvenation can do much to extend the appearance of youth and beauty and help take care of the assets we possess.
Massage can lessen wrinkles and habitual expression lines, help release tension in surrounding muscles, tone and firm facial muscles, improve skin tone, increase elasticity, and soften the skin.
Seated Chair Massage (On-Site/Office Massage)
Initially developed to treat employees in the workplace to help manage their stress levels. The treatment can invigorate the mind and body, stimulate the muscles and improve joint mobility, is relaxing, enjoyable and requires no undressing or use of oil. Research has shown that regular treatment can boost health and help reduce mental and physical effects of stress, thus reducing burnout and sickness levels. This therapy treats the muscles of the arms, neck, shoulders, back and scalp, releasing tension and knots, helping to reduce anxiety levels and restores a calm mind and a feeling of well-being.
Kansa Vatki Foot Massage
This wonderful foot massage includes techniques with a Kansa Vatki three-metal bowl. It involves vigorous rubbing on the soles of the feet to draw out excessive heat and toxins, thereby inducing tremendous relaxation. Slowly and methodically the toes, feet, ankles and calves are massaged to revitalise tired feet and legs. This is followed by a re-balancing sequence of marma massage (Indian acupressure) which helps to detoxify and balance the body’s energies.
This treatment is good for everyone especially those who spend many hours on their feet. It offers many benefits: it helps nourish the skin, can improve blood and lymph circulation and can sooth the agitated mind. It relaxes the muscles of the feet and the legs and can help alleviate stress, including anxiety, nervousness and depression.
Ear Candling / Thermal-Auricular Therapy
Ear Candling is non-invasive and can relieve pressure and pain, mainly in the ear and head area. It is soothing and helpful for various ailments such as: headaches, migraines, ear aches, compacted earwax, sinus problems and ear noise. The light suction action (chimney effect) and the movement of the flame create a vibration of air in the Ear Candle, generating a massage-like effect on the eardrum. This induces a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the ears, forehead and sinuses. The treatment is enhanced with a soothing massage of the face, neck, ears and scalp that can help increase circulation, help clear sinuses, help soften excessive or compacted earwax, help treat throat congestions, help alleviate TMJ pain and tinnitus, and promote relaxation.
